How I Charge

My charges for new website design and web development projects are based on a quoted or estimated cost for the project.

I will submit a proposal based on my understanding of your requirements. The proposal will include an estimate or a quotation.

There is no charge for this proposal or for any initial conversations or meetings - charges only accrue once the proposal has been accepted and work has commenced. In most cases, acceptance of the proposal will trigger an invoice for a deposit - usually 25% or 50% of the estimate or quote, depending on the size of the job - which serves to both show your commitment and encourage me to block out some time for you in my diary.

Ongoing maintenance for your website, if required, will be at either an hourly rate or a monthly fee, whichever is more suitable to us both.
